Thimmappana Betta


Thimappana Betta is a large twin rock standing majestically on the hill.Its one of the Unexplored places around Bangalore. At the basement of the hill a beautiful temple which is well constructed and maintained.its is around 70km from Bangalore. Roads are really very good till the basement of hill.Regularly villagers visit temple. It is the place can be covered with some trip in between.From the village to temple distance is around 4 km where the roads are pretty good. This is not a trekking or a day out spot.

Directions: Bengaluru – Bidadi – Ramanagara - Jalamangala
At the Ramanagara town signal take the right turn, a little ahead take the left at the Y junction. After 10kms on the way on the right side find the beautiful rock before Jalamanagala village.

Distance: 70km

Parking: Base of Hill(Near Temple)

Carry: Food and water

Permission : Not Required
